Jane Brady

7pm to 8pm – ‘Homegrown Hero’ Interview with local business woman and entrepreneur Jane Brady of Brady Insurance.
Jane is a General Insurance Broker with substantial experience & expertise across all insurance types. Brady Insurance was established in September 1959 and is 57 years in business. They are leading commercial brokers with a number of specialty areas of business, including the wholesale division Eventinsure.ie for Events, leisure, sports, communi & the arts.
In 2013 EVENTINSURE.IE launched to their broker network with an online fulfillment system which makes the sale of insurances in this sector easier and with a wide variety of trades and events covered, with both annual and single event policies. Jane is also a director of Surety Bonds. Surety Bonds – Ireland’s only specialist surety broker. Surety Bonds provides specialist expertise to brokers and companies to organise their clients bonding requirements and wholesales bond business throughout Ireland for a wide variety of bond types internationally.
Her focus with both companies is provide transparency and excellent customer service.
Jane is former President of the Insurance Institute of Sligo (2105-2016) and was the chairperson of MyIBA from 2012-2013. MyIBA (formerly YoungIBA) are a representative group for young front line brokers which is part of the Irish Brokers Association, and she is a former Council member of the IBA. Both of these roles include representing broker interests on a national level and encouraging & developing the broker channel and the professionalism within that channel.
Jane is married to Colm McGrath and they have 2 children.
